BuitenBeter app:
Is a lamppost not working? Is a sidewalk tile loose? Is there litter on the street? Do you have a comment about the maintenance of greenery in your street or a playground in your neighbourhood? An idea to solve a problem in public space? Then report public space, immediately on the spot and the moment you notice it!

You can make a public space report in one of the following ways:

1. Download the ‘Buiten Beter app’. You download it in your App Store/Google Play
2. Use the report form on the site www.eindhoven.nl-public-space
3. Enforcement: call telephone number 14 040 or after office hours 0900-8844.

You can contact Enforcement directly for many reports. They are also available outside office hours. You can make complaints about matters that are happening in your neighbourhood. A large number of Enforcement employees are authorized to issue fines. Think of stray dogs, not cleaning up dog poop or vehicles parked incorrectly or for too long. But also, for example, containers that are left on the sidewalk for too long and vandalism.

They are available on the following days and times:
Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM;
Friday from 07:00 to 23:00;
Saturday from 8:30 am to 11:00 pm;
Sunday from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm.

WaakSamen app:
The municipality of Eindhoven is affiliated with the WaakSamen app. This app helps residents to report a suspicious situation quickly and clearly. Making a good report and providing a clear description is difficult. The app helps residents to do that quickly, clearly and easily. The app also indicates whether it is necessary to call the police when a report is made. The reports are sent directly to the police and the municipality.
A big advantage of WaakSamen is that you can share the report directly via WhatsApp and therefore also place it in the existing neighborhood WhatsApp groups.

How does WaakSamen work?

1. Download the WaakSamen app from the App Store or Google Play;
2. Choose the category: person, group, vehicle or environment;
3. Click through the entry fields, fill in facts and add a photo if desired.

This way you help the police to take action quickly and in a targeted way!
