Heart for Blixembosch
The Heart for Blixembosch working group is happy to continue to draw attention to the heart safety of the district. The conditions of the 6-minute zone have been met; there are sufficient devices in the neighborhood so that a civilian emergency worker can provide the right care within 6 minutes.
Savings are being made for new AEDs for the Plateau and thanks to a successful Oliebollen campaign and a call to entrepreneurs in the neighborhood to make a donation, this will work out. Many thanks to Leroy and Teye van Oliebollenkraam ten Teye and the entrepreneurs from the neighborhood who made a donation! The entrepreneurs who advertise in Blixemflitsen! are indicated as ambassadors of Hart for Blixembosch by means of the logo with the advertisement.
As of March 1, 2023, the following figures are known:
– In the Blixembosch district there are 9270 inhabitants
– At Hartslagnu.nl, 125 civilian aid workers are registered for our district
– 1.3% of the residents are civilian aid workers
It would be nice if the percentage of civilian aid workers increased, so that the neighborhood becomes even more heart-safe. Via www.hartslag.nu you can register as a civilian aid worker if you have a CPR certificate that is no more than 2 years old. When registering you can also indicate at what times you are and are not available.
You can register for a CPR course via www.ehbo-woenselnoord.nl and is often reimbursed from the supplementary insurance.
Via www.eindhovenhartveilig.nl you can find the locations where the AED devices are located in your area.
We can now also be found via www.blixembosch.com under the heading “working groups”. You can also follow our activities on Facebook.
Sincerely,
Working group Heart for Blixembosch
