Pick-up service Eindhoven
Did you know that residents of Eindhoven can also have their bulky household waste collected at home?
Bulky waste or bulky household waste is waste that is too large or too heavy for a household waste bag or (underground) container. This includes household goods, mattresses, old carpeting or broken (garden) furniture.
You can use a Big Bag or sticker for this so that this household waste is collected from your street. The stickers are intended to collect large pieces of furniture, such as an old sofa or bed (one sticker per object). The Big Bags are suitable for almost all types of bulky waste.
What is NOT allowed in a Big Bag
Due to health risks for the environment, the following products can be handed in separately at the recycling centre:
- car tires;
- chemical waste;
- sharp glass
- asbestos-containing materials such as corrugated sheets;
- old sewage and heating pipes;
- old stovepipes;
- bathroom plates.
The Big Bags and stickers can be purchased via the Cure webshop (https://www.cure-afvalbeheer.nl/shop) or at the customer service at the head office of Cure Afvalbeheer, Achtseweg Noord 45 in Eindhoven. You can come here from Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 17:00. Make sure you have your Cure environmental pass with you and keep in mind that you can only pay with a debit card. Please note: no refunds are given for purchased Big Bags or stickers.
A maximum total weight of 1000 kg applies to both the Big Bag and loose bulky waste items.
You can make an appointment with Cure Waste Management to have the Big Bags and stickered objects collected. The rates (per item):
- Big Bag of 1 mᶟ € 40-
- Big Bag of 1.5 mᶟ € 60,-
- Sticker € 10,-
Total weight
A maximum total weight of 1000 kg applies to both the Big Bag and loose bulky waste items.
Asbestos
Asbestos up to 35 m² can be handed in (well wrapped in double plastic) at the recycling center, but you must report it to customer service no later than one day before your visit (telephone number:
040 2500 130). If you have more asbestos, you are legally obliged to engage a certified company
Collecting bulky waste: free for minimum wages
Residents of Eindhoven for whom the waste levy has been waived (see assessment or municipal tax decision) do not have to pay for the collection service. The bulky household waste will then be collected from your home free of charge. You can request five stickers and one Big Bag (1 m3) free of charge per calendar year on presentation of the assessment or decision, a valid proof of identity and your Cure environmental pass. Each sticker or Big Bag is only issued when you make an appointment for the collection service.
