Square talk positive!
Overture Square. There is so much alive. By day and yes unfortunately… regularly also at night. The age differences are clearly visible. During the day, the older sofa sitters are in the majority. In the evening and at night it is different. Many elderly people sleep or try to do so. In the morning, these square residents see the remnants of the nightlife. A lot of grumbling… the youth of today.
I’ve heard the following said. It touched me so much that I thought: a square talk for Blixemflitsen! Positive!
Situation: until late in the evening until the middle of the night, a group of young people hangs up and near a bench. The mess of pleasant relaxation is getting more and more. The group splits up. All but one. That young man is coming back or staying. What is happening…? He picks up all the junk… Was he uncomfortable? Had his upbringing taught him? Don’t know. I do not know him. Don’t know his parents. He gets no applause. What a pity. He does deserve it. What a pity that he has to do this anonymously. Group dynamics… old or young… doesn’t matter. Food for psychologists?
Another encore old-young. We used an invitation from the youth of the neighborhood. They had pancakes on the menu for us. Pancakes were made for us residents with their own limited resources. If the wait would be too long, we could view the art from their talent circle. We were also offered a tour of their youth center Blixems. This is admiration, thank you! Who knows, maybe the roles can be reversed sometime? La Scala meets… Who has youth…
