Safe neighbourhood
Veiligebuurt is a neighborhood app that shares information, makes it easier for neighbors to communicate with each other and makes it easy to report important matters. Report suspicious situations or calamities yourself and let your neighborhood know what is going on.
Using the app is free. Coeratie Univé bears the costs of using the app, as they recognize the social importance and use of the Veiligebuurt app. No advertisements are shown.
Users receive all information from the neighborhood at one central point:
– Police news
– Burgernet and AmberAlert
– information about burglaries
– p2000
– VeiligVerkeerNederland reporting center reports
– local safety news from the newspaper
– notifications from the neighbors (neighbors) if you want this
Having to share email addresses, telephone numbers and therefore your WhatsApp profile complete with profile picture and status with the entire neighborhood is a reason for many people not to participate. The Veiligebuurt app removes these barriers by automatically placing app users in the correct groups based on the postcode and street they have entered. As a result, people no longer have to look up who manages the neighborhood watch app, ask them to add him or her and your telephone number remains protected by working with an app. More information can be found at www.veiligebuurt.nl.
The app can be downloaded from the Playstore.
